Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for projects/contract execution and fulfil the deliverables on schedule with required specifications.
  • Resolve technical problems relative to optics; technology research and development, IP development of core technologies. Evaluating and implementing customer requirements.
  • Develop new optical systems for industrial OCT or confocal technology.
  • Provide technical support for industrial partners.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as requested by supervisors.

 

Job Requirements:

  • PhD holder or Master’s degree in Optical Engineering, Applied Optics, Medical imaging or relevant disciplines with minimum 3 years of related experiences.
  • Experience of imaging optical system, non-imaging optical system, or Nano optical design and production.
  • Familiar with optical design software tools such as CODE V and LightTools.
  • Familiar with the optical technologies for machine vision, 3D metrology, wafer optics, medical imaging, etc. is advantage.
  • Good communication skill of written and spoken English.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
