To support our constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as a world-class smart city and an international hub of innovation and technology, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.  
• Build reusable code and libraries. 
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. 
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Integrate frontend logic with server-side RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with team members using version control systems (e.g., Git). 
• Participate in agile software development processes and daily stand-ups.. 

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science,  Information Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant disciplines with a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), DOM manipulation, and the JavaScript object model.
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (React, NextJs, Vue.js, Node.js).
• Solid experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, AJAX, and JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
• Experience with build tools like Webpack, Turbopack, etc.
• Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience using AI tools in rapid application development is a plus.
• Mobile App development knowledge and experience is a plus.
• Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
• Knowledge of backend technologies is a plus.
• Strong team spirit and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and well organized with can-do attitude.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua and/or Cantonese)

The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked gratuity. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and dental benefits, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
