To support our constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as a world-class smart city and an international hub of innovation and technology, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify and pursue new revenue streams for ASTRI.
  • Design and implement effective sales strategies that include client engagement, networking, and marketing initiatives in the private sector.
  • Establish competitive pricing strategies for solutions proposed by ASTRI, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to develop and deliver innovative solutions based on ASTRI's research technologies.
  • Lead team to achieve targets established by the Management.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of tech-related R&D projects to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.
  • Leverage existing client relationships to introduce ASTRI's new offerings while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Conduct regular analyses of competitors to inform sales strategies and ensure compelling proposals that meet client needs.
  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with key clients through proactive communication and a deep understanding of their requirements.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years working experience in sales, marketing or business development in the technology or related sector. A solid technology sales background and experience dealing with different types of technologies. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Deputy Director.
  • Proven track record in identifying and capitalizing on new markets, developing business models, and applying value selling techniques, complemented by excellent pitching skills and multi-level stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and ability to quickly learn new technologies to apply to customer needs; knowledge of ASTRI’s current products and services is desirable.
  • Keen interest in new technologies, combined with sharp business acumen and a strategic mindset.
  • Experience in leading a business development team
  • Mastery of organizational, presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua considered a plus.
  • Possess a strong self-initiative, sales-oriented personality, proactive attitude, and a robust drive to succeed.

 

The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked gratuity. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
