To support our constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as a world-class smart city and an international hub of innovation and technology, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):
Job Responsibilities:
Ecosystem strategy & development
- Define and execute an ecosystem strategy covering government, enterprises, tech partners, System Integrators, start‑ups, academia and industry bodies around our technology core areas.
- Identify white spaces where our technologies can fill ecosystem gaps and design collaboration models.
Channel & partner management
- Build and manage a portfolio of strategic partners to scale adoption of our technologies.
- Design channel programmes to enable partners to take our technologies to market.
Commercialisation & Go‑to‑Market (GTM)
- Work closely with Technology Divisions and Business Development teams to create repeatable, partner‑ready solution offerings.
- Orchestrate joint GTM campaigns, reference projects and lighthouse deployments.
Stakeholder engagement & government / public sector alignment
- Engage with bureaux, statutory bodies, industry associations and cluster organisations to align with government policy directions.
- Represent the organisation in ecosystem forums, steering committees and working groups; shape agendas that highlight our technology strengths.
Programme & event leadership
- Design and lead ecosystem programmes such as partner days.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Technology Divisions to deliver high‑impact events.
Internal alignment & enablement
- Create mechanisms so that Technology Divisions can systematically engage partners and share ecosystem intelligence.
- Develop partner playbooks, training and internal governance to ensure consistent engagement models and quality across teams.
Impact measurement & reporting
- Define KPIs for ecosystem and channel performance.
- Provide regular insights to senior management on ecosystem trends, partner performance and strategic opportunities.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in technology and/or business related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years work experience in ecosystem and/or business development.
- Strong ecosystem thinking: able to map stakeholders across government, enterprises, start‑ups, research institutes and investors, and design win‑win collaboration models.
- Solid understanding of technology commercialisation, from research outcomes to pilots and scaled industry deployment.
- Excellent relationship‑building, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence C‑level and senior public‑sector stakeholders.
- Strong strategic planning and programme‑management skills; able to drive multi‑party initiatives from concept to execution.
- Good business acumen with familiarity in Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area innovation and technology landscape.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial and results‑oriented, with the ability to build new models from scratch.
- Strong communication skills in English and Chinese; Putonghua an advantage.
The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked gratuity. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
