To support our constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as a world-class smart city and an international hub of innovation and technology, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):

 

Location: Suzhou or Shanghai

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Proactively develop commercial clients in Mainland China and identify opportunities to commercialize ASTRI’s technologies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, industry partners and relevant government organizations.
  • Understand client needs and work with ASTRI’s technology teams to assess opportunities and develop proposals.
  • Manage opportunities from initial engagement and needs assessment through proposal, negotiation and contract signing; coordinate project handover and follow-up.
  • Gather customer insights, industry trends and market intelligence to inform business planning.
  • Prepare business proposals, presentations and related documents for client discussions and internal review.
  • Visit clients and partners across Mainland China as business needs require.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above; a background in science or engineering is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, technical sales or account management, with the ability to develop clients and advance opportunities independently.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred; familiarity with semiconductor equipment, materials, advanced packaging or related technologies is an advantage.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts, identify client needs and explain the commercial value of technical solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively with R&D and technology teams across locations, communicate client needs accurately and facilitate technical discussions and proposals.
  • Strong communication, client relationship management and cross-team collaboration skills; proactive and results-oriented.
  • Fluent Putonghua and working proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to travel within Mainland China.

The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay.  Fringe benefits include Social Insurance and Housing Provident Fund. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
